 Our Mission

 Our mission at CITY House is to strengthen the community by helping children, youth

 and their families resolve physical and emotional crises.

 Our Vision

 Our vision of success is that every child, youth and young adult develops the skills

 and confidence needed to succeed in life, especially while coping with difficult

 relationships and circumstances.

 Our Goal

 Our goal is to enable families to function more effectively within the family unit and

 the community.

FAMILY CENTER FACTS

  • CITY Family Center provides short-term, crisis intervention family counseling to any family experiencing conflict where a child/youth is involved.

  • Counseling sessions are conducted by licensed professionals as well as masters level students under supervision.

  • Five one-hour sessions are provided at no cost to the family.

  • These sessions are goal-oriented and aimed at resolving the family’s current crises.

  • Upon completion of counseling families are provided with referrals to resources so they may continue the progress started at the Family Center.

  • Families are welcome to seek services from the Family Center in the future if another crisis arises.

  • Bilingual services

  • Case management

  • Individual and family counseling

  • Play therapy

  • Respite care and Safe Place options

  • Groups for teens and parents

  • In-school counseling for students

  • Training for teaching and helping professionals
