CITY Programs Wish List
CITY House relies on the generous donations of our friends and volunteers to assist us with the daily needs of our children and youth. Please note the following guidelines for giving “in-kind.”
Food Essentials: 2% milk, 100% juices, bottled water, bread, cheese, cereal, eggs, fresh and frozen vegetables, fresh and canned fruit, sugar, butter, flour, etc. Household Needs: New bed pillows, toilet paper, paper towels, facial tissues, garbage bags, Tide HE laundry detergent, household cleaning supplies, or gift cards for these items. Personal Items: Gift Cards for Wal-Mart, Target, Kohl’s, and various department stores to purchase clothing and personal items. Entertainment: Gift cards and tickets for sporting events, movies, fast food restaurants, concerts, museums, plays, amusement parks, bowling and skating. Current music and DVDs. Transportation: Two 7 passenger vehicles.
Gift Registry: By picking one of the items in our registries below, you can make sure that you are donating items approved for use at My Friend’s House. Please note that we are unable to accept used clothing and toys.
Other needs include: Canned Goods: Meals are prepared daily, on site. Due to pantry space limitations, canned goods must be donated in the large, industrial size cans only. Please note, My Friend’s House is a peanut free home. No peanut butter or products containing peanuts will be accepted. Baby Food: Gerber Seconds only Formula: Enfamil products only, powder preferred for freshness. Snacks: Individual packaged snacks appropriate for a child’s lunch box or back pack. TRIPS Wish List Personal Needs: Tuition assistance, new laptop computers, gift cards (Wal-Mart, Target, department stores, restaurants, fast food outlets, and entertainment,) gasoline gift cards, cell phone pre-paid minutes cards. Household Items: Paper towels, toilet paper, facial tissues, garbage bags, powder laundry detergent, spray & wash, dryer sheets, and various cleaning supplies or gift cards for these items.
