Responding to crisis. Creating hope for their futures.

Real impact isn’t just measured in numbers — it’s seen in moments of stability, safety, and hope. This year, City House supported young people at every stage of need, from early intervention and homelessness prevention to emergency shelter and long-term housing. Together, we’re changing outcomes by meeting youth where they are and walking with them toward what’s next.

City House 2023-24 Impact Report

In 2024, City House continued its commitment to protecting and empowering children, youth, and young adults across North Texas who are navigating abuse, neglect, and homelessness. Throughout the year, our team showed up consistently — responding to crisis, providing safety, and supporting young people as they worked toward stability and independence.

City House’s work spans every stage of need. From emergency shelter and street outreach to counseling, transitional living, and homelessness diversion, our programs are designed to meet young people where they are — and, whenever possible, intervene before crisis becomes long-term homelessness. This holistic approach allows us to address both immediate safety and long-term outcomes.

At the heart of this work is relationship. Young people who come to City House are met with consistency, compassion, and belief in their potential. Whether through housing, counseling, or early intervention with families, the focus remains on restoring stability, building life skills, and creating pathways forward.

This year also reflected the strength of our community. Support from donors, volunteers, and partners made it possible to expand services, strengthen prevention efforts, and continue providing care without barriers. Together, we are not only responding to urgent needs — we are changing trajectories.
