Our Founders
City House began in 1988, when Plano ISD employees Kay Goodman (left) and Nancy Boyd (right) noticed a pattern they couldn’t ignore—young people in their community whose needs weren’t being met. Instead of looking away, they chose to act. What started as a small, six-bed shelter has grown into a 48-bed, multi-faceted agency, responding to the evolving realities facing youth today.
