Our Approach
City House is committed to providing hands-on experience for undergraduate and graduate Social Work students. Our internship program offers valuable hands-on experience in working with children involved in the CPS system, those experiencing homelessness, nonprofit work, and trauma informed care.
Essential Information
Internship opportunities are offered for undergraduate and graduate social work students. We do not accept other degree programs currently.
Weekly availability will need to be between the hours of 9-5; No evening or weekend hours
Please note, this is an unpaid internship

Conducting assessments, interviews & intakes
Clinical Skills including individual, family & group work
Trauma Informed Care, including TBRI Treatment Model

Requirements:
Set up and attend an in-person interview
Pass a criminal background check
Negative TB Test
Participate in a mandatory one-day orientation prior to beginning the internship
Participate in weekly supervision activities, including individual & group supervision
